Our Origins

From Medical Tourism to Pilgrimage

Our story began in 2017 with a specialised focus on Medical Tourism (MediTour). In the world of medical logistics, there is no room for error; every flight, transfer, and accommodation must be perfectly coordinated to ensure the well-being and safety of the traveller. As we grew, we realised that this same level of rigorous planning, precision, and genuine empathy was essential for a successful pilgrimage. We chose to bring that high-stakes expertise to the sanctity of our Umrah packages, weaving uncompromising integrity into every detail of your sacred journey.

As Managing Partner and CEO, Haji Ahmad Jusoh (AJ) is the strategic architect behind SAJDA’s vision. He brings a rare and powerful combination of high-level financial governance and entrepreneurial flair to the tourism industry. A University of Huddersfield graduate, AJ built his corporate foundation managing complex ventures at PNB and BERNAS before following his passion into the travel sector in 2004. His journey took him from founding Skymatt Travel to serving as COO of TH Travel. Since establishing SAJDA in 2017, he has channelled this diverse expertise into driving the organisation’s commercial resilience and global growth.

As a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Ustaz Haji Mohd Ishraqi acts as the architect of the pilgrim experience at SAJDA. His leadership is deeply rooted in his Shariah education in Damascus, providing him with a unique ability to fuse operational logistics with religious significance. Since beginning his tourism career in 2004 and later advising major Malaysian agencies, he has dedicated himself to the art of hospitality in the Holy Lands. As Head Mutawwif, he goes beyond standard management to personally ensure that SAJDA’s operations deliver a seamless, spiritually profound journey for every traveller

With over a decade of professional tourism experience and more than 20 years of involvement in outdoor recreation and adventure activities, he brings deep industry expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences. A licensed tourist guide for the past nine years, Azmeen has extensive knowledge of Malaysia’s cultural heritage, natural attractions, and tourism landscape. His expertise and commitment to responsible tourism continue to strengthen SAJDA’s travel portfolio and reinforce its reputation as a trusted provider of memorable, high-quality travel experiences.
